Last night we were back in the bookshop, got there about 8:30 and Laura and I went straight to the mini mart across the road where we spent a good 20 minutes pondering many of the wacky products available to us. We eventually bought a (6) pack of lemon ice tea which were in tetra packs (who would have thought) unfortunately they were warm despite our attempts of leaving them in the ice cream freezer while we contiued to ponder. I bought a coconut bun after being very undecisive. We got to work.
Laura eteched her drawing on the perspex plate from the previous day and i crushed up some resin and got out the overhead projector and me metho and did a 'resin performance'. We had a bit of interest but mainly people were too busy dancing to the classic 90 hits being pumped out of the universal bar across the road. Claire came to visit us after work and we had a meeting (which was interrupted a couple of times for interaction with the outside world) until so overcome with fatigue we called it a night and dragged ourselves out of there and straight to bed.
Hello, Welcome to the virtual realm of our Site Fiction project. We are an artist collective experimenting in Perth city to activate empty or disused spaces, and engaging and interacting with any potential audience (you!). We are currently inhabiting the former Arcane Bookshop (212 William St Perth) until 3rd October. During this we will be undertaking a series of performances in the shop front. This blog will be regularly updated with STUFF, so stay tuned!
