Had some interesting responses from people on the street, too (including hollering, and miming!), and communicating through a window is a new and interesting way of interacting with the audience. Not being able to let people in or talk to them properly seems to keep us more focused on what we are doing, too.
Hello, Welcome to the virtual realm of our Site Fiction project. We are an artist collective experimenting in Perth city to activate empty or disused spaces, and engaging and interacting with any potential audience (you!). We are currently inhabiting the former Arcane Bookshop (212 William St Perth) until 3rd October. During this we will be undertaking a series of performances in the shop front. This blog will be regularly updated with STUFF, so stay tuned!

Monday 17th - the first performance
Last night marked our first official performance, simple as it was. We erected a curtain from one side of the space to the other. After contemplating drilling into the wall, we decided to use the existing hooks... we want our bond back!

Hi Guys,
Loved reading about your interactions with the bureaucracy. Went relatively smoothly really..... for bureaucracy - did you ask them what's taking so long with the redevelopment of the Cultural Centre!!!!
Am working just round the corner and will drop in and see what you're up to. Keep up the good and inspirational work.
